Dimebag Darrell, formerly of Pantera, was shot to death onstage in Columbus, Ohio last night, December 8.

Pantera is an occasional moody listen for me. My nephew gave me a cassette of Vulgar Display of Power many years ago. Later, I was amused by the marriage of Pantera metal to spongey yellow cartoon goofiness.

Today is a sad day for rock & roll.
